Name of Business: Original Ferrell’s Donuts

Address of Business: 1761 17th Ave Santa Cruz, CA.
Phone 464-0444

Name of Business Owner: Mr. Michael Morse

Form of Support: Mr. Morse donates fresh donuts for over 70 Nursing Home residents weekly. His generosity is greatly appreciated by the residents, the Nursing Home staff  and the Bridge of Hope volunteers.

Mike Morse has owned the Original Ferrell’s Donuts shops for over twenty six years. His four stores are located in Northern California’s beautiful Santa Cruz county. The stores are located in Santa Cruz, Aptos, Watsonville
and Scotts Valley.

Over three thousand donuts are produced in Mike’s bakeries nightly. The bakers create a wide range of different types of donuts. They come out of the ovens fresh and delicious. Mike’s coffee and donut style shops are refreshingly homey and immaculately clean. Not only are the donuts sold retail in Mike’s shops but are sold wholesale to local hospitals, other institutions and businesses.

Mike says, “One of the reasons I enjoy my business so much is that I truly have great employees to work with.”

Besides enjoying his business, mike has a love affair with quality motorcycles. He has several that he alternately rides. When not involved in producing donuts and running his business, he sometimes takes to the open road doing motorcycle touring through adjoining states with some friends.
